Nanomatch facilitates the virtual design of organic electronic (OE) materials by developing predictive, adjustable software for parameter­ free simulation of OE devices starting from first principles. Our toolkit supports experimental R&D efforts by identifying bottlenecks in device performance fully in the computer. Without having to supply additional parameters, e.g. from experiment, the bottom-up multiscale modeling approach enables researchers and engineers to directly analyze the impact of specific microscopic properties and processes on device performance and creates insight and understanding for fundamental processes in OE devices. The ADF Modeling Suite empowers researchers with powerful computational chemistry tools.

Nanotechnology researchers will find various useful computational tools in the ADF Modeling Suite.

Our ADF molecular DFT code is well suited to study optical properties of nanoparticles, due to efficient and accurate treatment of relativity, making use of symmetry, fast TDDFT methods, and specialized exchange-correlation potentials. Advanced methods are available for environments and multi-level calculations.

Surface-enhanced Raman spectra (SERS), as well as hyper-Raman (SEHRS) and optical active (SEROA) spectra of molecules on large metallic nanoparticles are accessible through the DIM/QM methodology.

With DFTB and its time-dependent extension TDDFTB, spectroscopic and dynamical properties of very large nanoparticles such as quantum dots are possible, including excited state dynamics and charge transport with non-equilibrium Greens functions (NEGF).

ReaxFF has been used widely in nanotechnology. For example carbon nanotube formation, nanoparticle aggregation and Pd nanocatalysts under operating conditions with grand-canonical Monte Carlo.

We developed and produce anticorrosion additives based on a new technology of nano-encapsulation. Such additives added to dry and wet paints significantly prolong the resistance of material to corrosion growth. According to our tests, the single coated layer with our additives can show the similar anticorrosion characteristics like double coated layers without additives. Therefore, the economical savings are obvious. Since the additives are developed on the new physicochemical technology, similar products are not available on the market.
